Post The Glint and U!!!

As I lay waste in the world of Tyria I've "crushed my enemies and heard the lament of de women." Beating the game is good, so I ventured forward and went back to do bonuses. One in particular is the Dragons Lair; Standing around waiting to be worthy of a group, anyhow I have found out being a W/ME or whateva' 2nd class I choose the layer was easliy beat with myself and henchies then came ol' Glinty henchies had not the skills tho we battled for about 5 mins pretty good for a 1min selection of a team. If you are a powerful phyical Dmg build with life steal/Defy Pain or a Choas storm etc. loaded in your skills bar ya might best her with the Henchies. As far as Team with "real" players stop whinning and quitting after a lil' Dmg and load up non- Ele attacks-they heal her a lil' interupts and Baam goodbye Glint!! I hope 2 see a lil' more team work and alot less vanity
You know who u are Mr. "I've played GW for 2months your a noob!!!" get in there and walk the walk...

Yeah, I found it very tempting to just load up the damage dealers for that one. My smarted half got the best of me though, and I grabbed gale and the like. Damn my wise inner gamer.

Ironically enough, I'm pretty sure knockdowns don't work on Glint (I myself tried gale with no success) so I'm not sure how your inner gamer managed to kill Glint.

Anyways, killing Glint is dead easy as long as you have:
Protective Spirit
Distracting Shot or some other interrupt skill

One person grabs an egg and runs around dodging fireballs with prot spirit on him just in case, while the rest hit Glint as hard as possible while distracting her hibernation spell.

Yes, I discovered that in the middle of the fight, and while fighting ettins. "The Like" included the mesmer spells power drain and leech signet. I guess I should have listed em. . .

I almost solo'd glint, but for her natural regen... I had done the mission with hench, and thought, what the hell, why not? I was a r/n, shortly into the fight, all the henchies had died, and she was at half hp. I sat there, strafing back and forth, dodging every fireball (good thing, ~150 dmg or whatever they are), and distracting shot her every time she did a move. Only problem, I had no damage =P I could sit there forever, but so could she, and somehow I imagined her to be a little more patient than me. I had to give it up=/ But yeah, interrupts = gg.
